Leadership

Apostle Clayton Bullock

Continuing the Legacy of Bishop Walter J. Smith, Apostle Clayton Bullock will raise up a people to praise God, worship him, learn of him, obey him, and reach the world with the power of his love. No matter whom you are, where you are, if you are available, God can use you, your time, your talents, and your treasure to help change the world.

Apostle Clayton Bullock has traveled locally and internationally supporting churches to accomplish this goal.

He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Accounting.  Apostle Clayton Bullock is the overseer  of several faith based organizations and projects which includes: Tylertown Neighborhood Resource Council, Inc., Heavenly Delite Restaurant, TFBC Enterprise, TFBC Tutoring and Summer Enrichment Program and a Transitional Housing Program. He also provides counseling to inmates.

As Bishop Walter J. Smith believes, Apostle Clayton Bullock also believes that awakening of the first century will be duplicated in our time through the church, the body of Christ, under the direction and control of the Holy Spirit, as Christians win people to Christ, build them in faith and send them out into ministry of discipleship. The Spirit of the Lord is rising up a strong testimony to the transforming power of Jesus Christ. As they see the evidence of the dry bones beginning to live again, we are constantly humbled and in awe at this great move of God. They have heard God’s command to reach the un-reached for Jesus Christ.

Apostle Clayton Bullock is a native of Tylertown, Mississippi. He is happily married to Gwen Ratliff. They are blessed with (5) five children: Hannah, Sam, Kayla, Myron and Latoya.
We are honored to have as our Apostle, a “Man of God” of Tylertown First Baptist, Cathedral of Deliverance-Apostle Clayton Bullock.

Pastor Sherman Smith

Pastor Sherman Smith is a native of Tylertown (Walthall County). He is fanatical about teaching the word of Jesus Christ and exemplifying the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is married to Mrs. Darraious Hammond-Smith; they are the proud parents of three children, two boys and one girl, Desmond, Shermaine and Benjamin Smith.

Pastor Sherman attended Southwest Community College (1990) where he studied Diesel Mechanic. He continues to stay abreast in this profession by reading current journals and books in this profession and through hands-on experience. He graduated from Mississippi Job Corps (1989) in the field of Culinary Arts. When time permits he enjoys implementing the art of food preparation and presentation.

Pastor Sherman Smith has served faithfully at Tylertown First Baptist Church all his life under the illustrious leadership of Bishop Walter J. Smith where he was ordained June 10, 2007. Also, Pastor Sherman serves on several boards/committees to mention some would be: Tylertown First Baptist Church Board of Elders, TFBC Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade Committee, Tylertown Volunteer Fire Department (15 years), Tylertown Neighborhood Resource Council, Inc., and Tylertown First Baptist Church National Day of Prayer Committee.

One of Pastor Sherman's favorite quote is “WE ARE MOVING FORWARD, TOGETHER!”
